Philip is currently an MFA candidate in printmaking at the University of Missouri. he holds a BFA in printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute and an AAS in computer network management from Wake Technical Community College as well. Throughout his life, he has witnessed the expansion of technology from the first monochrome DOS computer he encountered to tech encompassing every aspect of life today. His work is in response to this rapid overtaking of the digital world and the ways in which the artificial has come to often be presented as “more real” than actual reality.
